We will have two options of plant tours for you to choose from. Both tours will take place on Friday morning. They will leave the hotel around 8:00am and return around Noon. The tour to Glenn Metalcraft will make a stop at the airport before returning to the hotel.

RST with 1.5 meter boom, 496 robot and 3,000 kg head and tail stock. The tail stock is mounted on a 2 meter rail allowing for a range of part sizes from 6-10 foot long.

Participants will go to Storms Welding and Manufacturing facility where they will see the IGM Robotics System in action on a part from McFarlane Manufacturing.

Check out the most powerful spin forming machine of its type ever built for a U.S. company. Glenn Metalcraft’s spin forming capabilities range from the thinnest of gauges up to 1.5″ in thickness. Their CNC (computer numerical control) lathes provide extreame accuracy and maximum. controllable power for their operators. Participants will also see a state of the art powder coat system. Participants will see Heavy Guage metal spinning in action, how automation and robotics are incorporated into the process, and how additional services are incorporated to make Glenn Metalcraft a “one stop shop” including Welding, Waterjet cutting, Machining, Powder Coating and E-Coating.
